Rachel Garlinghouse describes her family as big, loud, and multiracial. She's been married almost twenty years, and her four kids range from a teen to a five-year-old. Because she's not quite busy enough, she's also a two-time breast cancer survivor and type 1 diabetic. She's a former college writing teacher turned writer and kitchen dance party coordinator. Rachel has authored hundreds of articles and has appeared on CNN, MSNBC, NPR, and CBS, advocating for racial equity. You can find her book, The Hopeful Mom's Guide to Adoption: The Wit and Wisdom You Need For The Journey, wherever books are sold. Follow Rachel's family adventures on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.
