Let's be honest: Grandmas can sometimes get a bad rap. Most of us have heard our fair share of stories about pushy older moms and villainous mother-in-laws (and some of us have unfortunately lived them). But ahead of Mother's Day, one new mom has chosen to pay tribute to her own amazing mom and mother-in-law, who were both there for her in all sorts of little but meaningful ways after she recently gave birth.

The viral post was shared earlier this month by Lindie Kimbro Ramsey (@lindieramsey)
In it, she films her mom and MIL sitting on a couch across the room from her. One is holding her newborn daughter, while the other is snuggled up close, looking on adoringly.
It's a sweet little scene to watch, as both women clearly look devoted to their new grandchild. And the song that plays in the background — "Climb," by Andrew Gialanella — makes it all the more emotional.
But just before the video ends, a message pops up that makes it all the more heartwarming
"When you marry the man, you gain his entire family," the video text reads.
For some people, that might not actually be a good thing; but for Ramsey, she clearly hit the lotto in that department.
In her post caption, Ramsey goes on to praise the grandmas who step up
"Momma," it begins. "She came in. She did everything. Literally everything."
"Every trip to and from baby delivery
Every dirty dish
Every piece of laundry
Every meal
Every packed lunch
Every game played
Every birthday celebration request
Every …
She did it all; and in doing it all, had THE most cheerful spirit about her," she added.

It's a little unclear if she's specifically talking about her own mother here or her MIL
But either way, the entire post reads like an homage to grandmothers everywhere. The ones who aren't there to judge, but to help. The ones who seem to know just what you need when you need it, and come in pretty clutch during the tricky fourth trimester.
"She sets the standard real high when it comes to serving others with intentionality and kindness," Ramsey continues in her post caption. "Oh how I pray I’ll be the same treasure to my babes one day when they are grown."
"Because even grown, we still seem to need our Mommas," she added.
We certainly do.
Comments have been flooding the post ever since
"This is so rare and beautiful and precious," one person wrote.
"I don't have this, but I WILL BE THIS!" someone else declared.
"This is the type of mother-in-law I long to be," another person shared.
"As someone who doesn't have healthy relationships with my mother or mother-in-law, this is so incredibly beautiful and inspiring to see," someone else chimed in.
Others couldn't get over the sweet bond that Ramsey's mom and mother-in-law seemed to have.
"I hate hate hate when mother-in-laws compete with each other," one person said. "There’s no reason! This is beautiful and how it should be."
Many people wholeheartedly agreed
"This is how it should be," one person said. "We should all commit to taking care of each other every day and forever more. We are all we have."
In the end, Ramsey seems aware of just how blessed she is, and certainly doesn't take any of it for granted. The Texas mom of four frequently creates content about her chaotic but fulfilling life in the country, where she currently raises her four littles with her husband.
