What is a Tail of Spence exactly?

The Tail of Spence is glandular tissue in the axilla, also known as the armpit. According to Science Direct, "Mammary tissue in the axilla, which is connected to the central duct system, becomes more obvious during pregnancy and produces milk during lactation, when it may cause various symptoms."
