Lynzina Sutton's daughter was accused of lying to her teacher about where she was during school, and when she spoke with the teacher, the girl said, "My mom will handle this." Fearing for her safety, the teacher filed a complaint to the school.

Sutton, who is 4'10," showed up at the school the next day wearing a hood and using her height to blend in with students. She walked past security before going to the teacher's classroom and repeatedly punching her in the face while approximately 25 students watched.

"These are injuries that you don’t often see in boxing matches, so they’re quite serious," District Attorney William Fitzpatrick said during a press conference. "She’s going to have some long-term issues." Sutton walked out of the school, but was arrested later that day and charged with burglary and assault.

Sutton was reportedly frustrated with the school due to her daughter being bullied repeatedly. "She’s been slapped, she’s been kicked, they’ve broken her glasses three times, they’ve broken cellphones twice, and all we get [from the school] is, ‘Well, what is she doing?’ They made her out to be the problem," she explained.

"I apologize for that, and I hope she recovers. There’s always a better way to handle stuff, and we were going to talk at the school to have a conversation, with the school, like we have numerous times."
