10-Year-Old Reporter Questions NFL Star in Interview That Goes Completely Left-Field

With Super Bowl LVII less than a week away, football fans can hardly wait until the big showdown. Luckily, they had the Pro Bowl to hold them over on Saturday — an annual all-star game featuring NFL players who get voted in by coaches, fans, and the players themselves. And there to capture the highlights was a bow-tie-clad 10-year-old known as Jeremiah Kid Reporter, who gave some pretty stellar interviews, including one that moved people to tears.

If the name Jeremiah sounds familiar, that's because he went viral last month

The budding sports reporter has been flexing his skills for a while now, and has even gained a following of more than 40,000 fans on Instagram.

According to his bio, the 10-year-old sports commentator has one big dream: to become a home game commentator for his favorite team, the Las Vegas Raiders. And on January 13, he went viral for his impressively polished sideline interview with Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams.

On Saturday, Jeremiah was back in action at the Pro Bowl

And, as usual, it didn't take long for him to impress everyone with is extensive knowledge of the game and adorably polite interviewing skills.

But even though all of his interviews were pretty great at the Pro Bowl, none were quite as memorable, or as heartwarming, as the one Jeremiah conducted with Josh Jacobs, a running back for the LA Raiders.

The nearly three-minute interview has actually been going viral for the last few days with more than 3 million views plus thousands of comments from Twitter users who can't get enough of the kid.

Jeremiah kicked things off with an adorable yet highly professional intro

"Hi, I'm Jeremiah with Jeremiah One and Five, and I'm here with Josh Jacobs, running back for the Las Vegas Raiders," the 10-year-old began. "This season, he's ran the ball 340 times, 1,653 yards, 12 touchdowns, and he averages 4.9 yards per carry."

Jeremiah goes on to tell Jacobs that he's actually wanted to interview him one-on-one for a while now, but not because he wanted to praise the running back for his performance on the field. Instead, he wanted to give him a heartfelt message about something personal.

"I just wanted to tell you face to face that I'm praying for your dad and your entire family," said Jeremiah, referencing the news that Jacobs' father suffered a heart attack last month. "I just wanted to ask you, how are you all doing?"

According to Jacobs, his dad is now on the mend

And while he might have quite a bit of rehab ahead of him, the NFL player says they are all grateful that he survived.

Then, without missing a beat, Jeremiah shares that it was actually Jacobs' 6-year-old son Braxton who actually found his grandpa Marty and dialed 911.

Ultimately, that call ended up saving his grandfather's life.

"When I heard that … I immediately broke down and it instantly took me back to March 18, 2018, the day that I had to save my mother’s life," Jeremiah continued.

At the time, Jeremiah was just 6 years old too

As he told Jacobs, his mom Lorraine suffered her own medical emergency when she was prescribed an antibiotic that she didn’t know she was allergic to.

“She was going into anaphylactic shock, she was burning from the inside out and her throat was closing up," he recalled.

“I’m really close with my mom, so I knew that something was wrong and got immediate help. So when I heard that story about Braxton, I just felt like I could connect with him," the young reporter said.

Then, after reaching into his pocket, Jeremiah pulled out a gold necklace he called a "No. 1 Winner's neclace" and asked Jacobs to give it to his son.

"Even though we [may be] little people, we have very big purposes in life and I know it wasn’t an accident or a coincidence that your son was at the right place at the right time to save his grandfather’s life,” the 10-year-old concluded. "Can you please just tell him that I'm proud of him?"

The heartwarming interview has now drawn thousands of comments

"He’s a pro at this!" tweeted one person.

"This has me sobbing!" said another.

"Two future legends!" someone else declared. "That was awesome."

"Man this kid is legit," another fan wrote. "I can’t even say anaphylactic and I’m 23 years old amd this dude saying it with ease. Good stuff lil man, good stuff."

"Lil man reminding the whole media world how to be a human being, not a clickbait seeking puppet," someone else added. "Kid’s a stud!"

Several others said it might just be the "best NFL interview of the season."

Keep up the good work, Jeremiah! You've already got thousands of people rooting for you.
