What to Know
If there’s one thing to remember, it’s that our cities and homes would not remain clear of debris and waste and safe to occupy without the dedication from the hardworking folks who make a living driving garbage and dump trucks. You really should not take advantage of their skills, because, if you do, karma may just come back and bite you! Such was the case in a recent viral video that showed a “disgruntled” dump truck employee dumping loads of trash onto the driveway of a client after he allegedly kept refusing to pay for their services. Seriously, it is not a good idea to mess with your local dump truck driver!
A San Pablo dump truck driver decided to dump a load in a client’s driveway.
Have you ever fantasized about getting back at someone who has wronged you in a super big way? We’re not talking anything that’s going to land you in jail, but there’s just something so completely delicious about the idea of getting some sweet revenge.
With that said, we have to say that a part of us completely understands what happened here in this viral video that shows a dump truck driver leaving a heaping pile of waste on a client’s driveway.
Someone who lives in the area where all the garbage was dumped can be seen running out in utter shock at what just happened.
According to the dump truck driver, these home owners completely earned this massive dumping!
The dumper company explain why they decided to leave this mess.
Well, it turns out that this didn’t happen for no reason.
According to KTVU FOX 2, Express Rental Dumpster in San Pablo, California, said that people moving out of a house rented one of their dumpsters for debris removal. The company placed the dumpster per the order request, but the credit card number given for payment would not work.
Martin Perez, owner of the dumpster firm, told KTVU FOX 2 that the client’s card was declined multiple times and the home owner kept telling them that they would pay them at a later date, which never happened. When the company came to pick up its dumpster, it was full, so the driver decided to dump the contents on their driveway.
Perez said he had already lost money on the dumpster delivery and pickup, and if they had taken the debris to the dump, they would have had to pay hundreds of dollars in dumping fees, per the news outlet.
A neighbor told the news outlet that the mess wasn’t that bad. “It didn’t block the street, it kind of went on the sidewalk and a little bit on, literally on the edge of the sidewalk,” she told KTVU FOX 2 News.
Perhaps it just looked really bad on camera!
The comment section is filled with individuals who completely understand why this dumpster company did what they did.

If there’s one thing about social media, it’s that people love a good revenge story.
In the Reddit comments, people are completely defending the dumpster company’s actions. One person wrote, “He just returned his stuff that he didn’t pay to have removed. Seems like a nice guy to me.” That’s one way of looking at it!
Some redditors are kind of annoyed that the dump truck driver is even getting the label of ‘disgruntled,’ because they don’t find that to be fitting at all considering the circumstances. “Customer wanted a bin to have his trash removed. Customer didn’t pay so bin company left their trash and removed the bin. I feel like “Disgruntled dump truck driver” doesn’t really cover what happened,” they wrote. Another person shared, “I wouldn’t even call this disgruntled.” Completely fair assessment.
Another individual thought this was the perfect way to teach this client a lesson. “People try to weasel their way out of paying for services all the time, to the point it’s exhausting and expensive for contractors. That should teach this bum not to take advantage of people,” they wrote.
If anything, we all learned from this viral video that it is not okay to stiff someone on a payment, especially if they’re in charge of removing a massive load of garbage from your home!
