A viral video of a 20-year-old dad’s daily routine is drawing millions of views on X — and a wave of reactions from moms who noticed one thing conspicuously absent from it: his child. This young dad’s routine has everything … except his kid.
Looking like an ad for Axe Body Spray or something else equally as annoying, this daily routine video starts out with a few frames of the shirtless 20-year-old man showing off his athletic physique on what appears to be some sort of outdoor track. Then he can be seen getting in a shave and a shower, which looks rather lengthy because he has time to stop and flex for a moment.
Another part of his daily routine is heading out to the grocery store to pick up some food and change into some cute gym clothes before eating a meal completely unbothered by any baby or child.
So, where’s the ‘dad’ part in all of this, you might ask? Well, there’s not even a three second clip of him stopping to give his baby a kiss before heading to the gym! There it is right there.
A lot of people in the comments section can’t get over how this is supposed to be a dad’s daily routine.
With many of the comments left translated from Portuguese to English, you can still completely distinguish how so many people are having a very hard time comprehending this guy’s video.
Firstly, this dad seems to have an abundance of time to take care of himself. Whether it’s stopping to feed himself, enjoying a nice long shower that’s complete with a skincare routine, or spending a good chunk of his day working out, this dad’s routine seems to be all about himself!
One person in the comment said, “The video literally showing him taking better care of him than of the son—what kind of father routine is that???”
Another individual in the X comment section is looking to bring this young dad down a notch by mentioning all the time he seems to spend admiring himself. “Spends more time in front of the mirror than taking care of the kid lol,” they wrote.
Another commenter couldn’t help but give the perfect analogy that immediately made us giggle. “Him kissing his son like he’s saying goodbye to a cat.. even my cat gets more fatherly attention than his son does,” they wrote.
A lot of comments point out that a mom’s daily routine looks very different from this guy’s.

No parent has this much time for himself without the other parent being the one doing most of the childcare and domestic work.
Another person in the comments can’t help but wonder how many women in this man’s life are there doing the daily grunt work while he gets his reps in. “His routine is him just saying hi, the rest is taken care of by the woman, the mom, grandma, or the babysitter,” they shared.
Honestly, while watching this video, many couldn’t help but wonder if it was pure satire because what father has zero awareness when it comes to sharing a dad’s daily routine online that shows absolutely nothing related to being a dad!
