3 Young Boys Shot Execution-Style, Dad Now Facing Murder Charges

Three young boys were killed after they were shot execution-style at a home in Ohio.

According to Fox 19, the kids' mom called 911 after the shooting, saying her "babies had been shot."

Someone else called authorities after a young girl was seen running down the street yelling that "her father was killing everyone."

When deputies arrived, the dad, who was identified as Chad Doerman, was found outside the home with a rifle. The young boys were found unresponsive at the scene and life-saving measures were attempted. The boys — ages 7,4, and 3 — died from their injuries.

Officials did not have a motive for the shooting as of Friday and said the investigation was ongoing. However, Doerman's dad told the New York Post that "there was something going on in his life that he couldn't handle no more."

People reported that one of the young boys attempted to run away but was hunted down and later shot. The mom was allegedly shot in the hand while trying to protect her kids.

“In an act of desperation, the mother at some point grabbed the gun that the father was wielding to attempt to protect them,” David Gast, head of the Clermont County Prosecutor's Office Criminal Division, said, according to Cincinnati.com.

Officials added that the shooting had been planned out for several months, CBS Austin reports.

Doerman has been charged with three counts of aggravated murder and was being held on a $20 million bond.
