Step 1
Fill a bucket up 3/4 with warm water from the tap. Squirt in 1 tsp. of liquid dish soap. Swirl the water around a little to mix it up but try not to create suds.
Step 2
Lay your terry cloth towel along the window sill. Place another on the floor directly under the window. These towels will catch any water that drips down so it doesn’t ruin your woodwork or flooring.
Step 3
Take your sponge and dip it in the bucket. Soak it thoroughly. Wring it out so it is not dripping. Wash your window. Wash the entire window with up-and-down swipes.
Step 4
Place your squeegee against the glass on the top of the window. Make one horizontal pass to clear a strip at the top. Wipe your squeegee with the cloth diaper. Start at the upper-left side of the window. Place your squeegee against the glass and pull the squeegee toward the floor, making a vertical strip. Continue drying the glass with the vertical motion, moving from the left side to the right. Wipe the squeegee after each pass.
Step 5
Wet your chamois in clean water. Wring it out. Use it to wipe any excess water from the window. Move on to the next window.
