Step 1
Wash and wipe apples to remove any chemicals that could be on the skins.
Step 2
Check the apples for bruises and separate the bruised apples from healthy apples. Bruises will spread if they touch a healthy apple.
Step 3
Place the apples in a brown paper bag and fold the top of the bag down.
Step 4
Store the apples in the vegetable drawer in the refrigerator. Apples will stay crisp and fresh for at least three weeks in the refrigerator.
