How to Remove Slushie Stains From Carpet

Step 1

Blot up as much of the stain as possible with a wet cloth. Do not rub; it will cause the stain to spread and dig into the carpet deeper.

Step 2

Mix 1 part white vinegar with 3 parts warm water.

Step 3

Dip the cloth into the vinegar mixture.

Step 4

Pat the area, allowing the vinegar to set into the stain. Continue to do this until the stain is removed.

Step 5

Blot the now stain-free area with a warm damp cloth to remove traces of vinegar that were left behind.

Step 6

Dry the dampened area with a hair dryer.
