How to Remove Milk Stains From Materials

Clothes

Step 1

Blot excess milk from clothes with paper towels. After removing the excess liquid, wet a cloth with cold water.

Step 2

Sponge the wet cloth over the milk stain, removing as much as possible from the clothes.

Step 3

Cut a lemon in half and squeeze the liquid over the milk stain. Using your fingers, rub the lemon juice into the milk stain. Lay the clothes in direct sunlight for two hours, allowing the sun and lemon juice to attack and break down the milk stain.

Step 4

Place the clothes in the washer and launder on cool water with 1 tbsp. of liquid laundry detergent. Inspect the stain after washing to ensure it has completely disappeared before drying. If the stain remains, repeat the removal process beginning with the lemon juice.

Step 4

Rinse a clean cloth in cool water and sponge it onto the affected area of the carpet, removing the soap suds.

Step 5

Push a towel into the carpet to soak up the excess moisture.
