Step 1
Pour a quarter-sized drop of amyl acetate on the grass stain and then scrub it with a toothbrush in a circular motion.
Step 2
Wipe the area clean with a moist paper towel.
Step 3
Scrub the stain again with a (rinsed) toothbrush and soapy water.
Step 4
Wipe the area clean with a moist paper towel. The stain may be gone at this point. If not, move on to Step 5.
Step 5
Pour a quarter-sized pool of rubbing alcohol onto the stain. Scrub in a circular motion with your toothbrush.
Step 6
Wipe the area clean with a moist paper towel. The stain will most likely be removed. If not, repeat Steps 1 through 6 until it is.
Step 7
Clean stubborn grass stains on white linoleum with bleach as a final step. Mix one part bleach and three parts water. Soak a white towel with the solution and leave it on the stain until it is bleached away. This may take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours. Wet the towel again if necessary.
