Step 1
Fill a cleaning bucket with about 1 gallon water and 2 cups baking soda.
Step 2
Dip either a mop or cleaning rag into the mixture, wring out and wipe over the grout. This removes basic buildup that accumulates on a daily basis, and is often all that's required.
Step 3
Mix a baking soda paste in a bowl for heavier buildup. Add about 2 cups baking soda to a bowl and stir in water until it forms a paste.
Step 4
Dip a nylon scrub brush into the mixture, scrub over the grout and repeat until all grout is clean.
Step 5
Wipe down the grout with a wet mop or cleaning rag to remove the paste and allow to air dry.
