Chocolate Cookie Milkshake Pops!

Have you ever had a cookie milkshake? It’s as delicious as it sounds. And easy too. Simply place some ice cream, milk and your cookies of choice into a blender and whip it up. Add some whole or chopped cookies and whipped cream for garnish and you have a cookie milkshake!

I’m a big fan because you can actually taste the flavors of your chosen cookie in the milkshake, making for a nice change from the usual. And, of course, the possibilities are endless.

I love to riff on this idea by making cookie milkshake popsicles. They are just as easy, and I love having batches of these treats in my freezer for indulging any time. (Maybe I shouldn’t love this so much?)

This recipe highlights one of my very favorite cookies: chocolate wafers. As a child, I could eat these by the handful and I love the way their flavor shines through in these rich and refreshing pops.

A milkshake on a stick? Not the worst thing to happen to your week!
