Sean Lowe ‘Thanked God’ His Son Is Safe After Armed Robbers Tried to Steal His Truck

This must have been such a scary experience for Sean Lowe. During a Q&A with fans on his Instagram Stories, Sean revealed an armed robber tried to steal his truck while he was shopping with his son, Samuel, and it sounds like they're both really lucky that they came out of it safe and sound.

Sean shared the story during a fan Q&A

One fan asked Sean to share something "super weird" that had happened to him recently, and we never could have predicted he had this story up his sleeve — something he said happened to him and his 6-year-old son, Samuel, two months ago.

He was checking out at Dick's Sporting Goods in the mall when a woman said that someone was trying to steal a truck outside. When Sean went out to see what was going on, he discovered it was his truck they were trying to steal.

Four men in ski masks were trying to take Sean's truck, and fortunately, he left Samuel inside the store while this all played out, keeping him safe in the process.

"A witness saw them holding a gun out of the window of their getaway car, and I've thanked God 1000x for not allowing Samuel and I to walk up on them unknowingly," Sean wrote.

While they weren't successful with their theft, the robbers also didn't get caught.

This isn't the first time this has happened

As People reported, a fan pointed out in another question that people have attempted to steal Sean's truck before — something he said is because "I'm an idiot and bought an obnoxiously loud and fast truck that criminals love." He added that he plans to sell the truck "soon."

The Lowes have had a run of bad luck lately

In the same Q&A session, Sean revealed that they had to give away their family dog, a Bullmastiff named Gus, after he bit Samuel on the head.

"The result was a trip to the E.R. and a staple in the head," Sean wrote, via People. "So as much as I love that dog, I have to protect my kids first. But he's in a great home and we'll get to still see him occasionally."

This must have been so hard for them to do, but Sean added that fortunately Samuel is "doing great" and has fully healed from the incident.

It's good to hear that everyone in Sean's family is doing well

Especially Samuel, who has really had his share of scary ordeals recently!

Hopefully, the next month will bring better luck for this former Bachelor couple and their three children. From everything that Sean shared on Instagram on Wednesday, it sounds like they really deserve some good luck.
