Keke Palmer is accusing her ex-boyfriend and the father of her child of abusing her multiple times during their relationship, according to US Weekly. According to court documents, Keke alleges that Darius Jackson “trespassed into my home without my knowledge or consent” and threatened her before “lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone.” The new mom is now requesting a restraining order against Jackson and is asking for sole custody of their 8-month-old son.

According to US Weekly, Keke says she has security footage of his alleged abuse as recently as November 5. Jackson is also being accused of “destroying” and “throwing” her belongings, including her car keys, into the street. The court documents also state that he has hit her in front of their son, Leodis, and has spewed “profanities about me to our son, threatening to kill himself with a gun if I left him, harassment, and other physical and emotional abuse.”
The documents were filed after Jackson received backlash for mom-shaming Keke for her outfit at an Usher concert in Las Vegas. Jackson took to X (formerly Twitter) shortly after Keke was seen wearing a sheer outfit at the show. In his series of tweets, he called Keke out for her choice of clothing as a new mom.
“It’s the outfit tho… you a mom,” Jackson wrote on X, Mom.com previously reported.
Weeks after Jackson’s comments, Keke took the high road and teamed up with Usher to make a song. The actress also released another song titled “Bossy,” owning her new mom bod.
“Lil’ booties matter, my son gave me some ass/ I’m my own boss and I got my own cash/ I don’t need a [expletive], only thing I need’s a bag,” she rapped in the song.
In an Instagram post, hinting at his comments, she said that she’s “gotten so much more powerful.”
And we agree. We wish Keke all the best.
