When we think of toddler birthday party themes, we usually think of the usuals: Unicorns, dinosaurs, maybe Bluey or Blippi. But one mom online thought outside of the box — maybe even too far outside the box — when she threw her 2-year-old a Chrisean Rock-themed birthday party, and now, she's getting a load of backlash for choosing to base the party on the musician and reality TV star.

The video of the party went viral on TikTok
Though the original video featuring all of the party details seems to have been deleted, as we all know, the internet is forever … and the video has made its way to other TikTok accounts, along with Twitter and Reddit.
In the video, we can see that photos of musician Chrisean are featured heavily on the party decorations, including the T-shirt that the tiny birthday girl is wearing (and even on labels put on pouches of Capri Sun for party guests!).
Chrisean is clearly a controversial choice for a toddler's birthday party
Chrisean is an artist who first came to fame when she competed on rapper Blueface's OnlyFans reality show and won. Now, they star in their own reality show, Crazy in Love.
Their relationship has remained problematic since they first got together in 2020, and in 2022, Chrisean was arrested for allegedly punching Blueface (and this hasn't been the only incident involving domestic violence that they've run into along the way).
Chrisean and Blueface are now expecting their first child together.
People aren't happy with the birthday party theme
On a post about the party shared on Reddit, people did not hold back on their thoughts about how inappropriate this was.
"She wanted Gracie's Corner and Sesame Street!" one person wrote. "Instead she got her mama living vicariously thru her."
Another added, "This is NOT the role model you want for your child."

People are weighing in on Instagram, too
The comments on the post from The Shade Room are pretty brutal, too.
"Daughter had to give up having her Moana theme bday party because her mama wanted to go viral," one commenter wrote.
Another person chimed in, writing: "That’s not a flex! It’s more like bad parenting! She shouldn’t know who she is."
Meanwhile, Chrisean seems flattered by the whole thing

On her own account, Chrisean shared The Shade Room's post, writing, "This is too sweet" in a post on her Instagram Stories.
Given Chrisean's history, she's obviously not a role model that a lot of people would choose for their children — especially ones who are only 2 years old. This is certainly a surprising choice.
