Jenny Brulé is a classically trained chef, writer and mother to four young hoodlums. She spends the better part of each day waging an internal war between going 100% vegetarian -vs- 100% baconarian.
When not deep in thought over this dietary conflict, Jenny writes for newspapers and magazines like Shape, Fitness and Cooking Light as well as making monthly, fumbling appearances on Charlotte Today (North Carolina's NBC affiliate). She can also occasionally be seen on the Food Network's website. Like everyone else in the United States, Jenny has a food blog, FindingTasty (but she had hers first.)
Jenny's favorite aspect of parenting has been to see her daughters' sense of humor develop to the point when they can appreciate a good fart joke.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
Being the youngest of five children, toys were few and far between. My older brother threw a stick at me when I was 8. I kept it and pretended that it was a quill and that I was Tina Jefferson, the only woman to sign the Declaration of Independence, (which made a lasting impression on Jeff McConnell, the neighborhood bully.)
