The Good Ol' Days
Remember when times were simple and carefree? When you played outside until the streetlights came on and you didn't have to download an app to play? The old times have come and gone, but we can still hang on to that feeling of nostalgia and bring back those toys of yesteryear. Here are 10 retro toys that we bet you'd love to introduce to your kids:
Rubik's Cube
There are two types of people in this world. Those who can master the Rubik's Cube and those who peel off the stickers. Raise your hand if you peeled off the stickers!
Spinning Top
Made of metal and wood, oh my! If these were on the market today, parents would be running to get tetanus shots for their children.
Rotary Phone
Today's kids would not even know this was a phone. It's big, bulky and requires their finger to move in a direction they didn't even know was possible.
Lite Brite
"Lite-Bright, Lite-Bright—turn on the magic of colored lights!" Now the jingle is stuck in your head for the rest of the day, but so are the memories of playing with those tiny pegs for hours on end.

Koosh Ball
The best-feeling ball in the world, you never got tired of holding it. Plus, your parents were cool with you throwing it in the house!

Cabbage Patch Kids
There was a time when the measure of a good parent was if you were willing to sleep outside in front of Toys R Us to get your child a Cabbage Patch Kid. No need to sleep outside anymore; you can pick them up online.
Roller Racer
Quite a bit of effort, for a small amount of movement, but we loved it just the same. The Roller Racer may have been the first time we got a real ab workout.

Etch-a-Sketch
This was the closest thing to an iPad that we had growing up. It was also the go-to toy for road trips.
View-Master
It's a miracle we all didn't have conjunctivitis (aka pink eye) on a daily basis. The View-Master encouraged us to pass around our eye germs to friends and family members. But who didn't love pressing down on the lever to see what visual surprise awaited them next? We'll take this over a 3-D TV any day.

Slip 'N' Slide
So. Much. Fun. This toy embodied summertime. From the traditional "tummy slide" to the advanced "backwards or sideways slide," this was the ultimate way to get your heart racing.
