Imagine being trolled by your own child

In the video, which was uploaded by user Melati Woodbury, the kiddo is being carried around inside of what looks like one of those Spirit Halloween stores. You hear them say "Hi, Mommy" to something off-screen. When the camera pans over, you see a statue that looks like a screaming ghoul.

"Happy spooky season I guess ," the video is captioned.

You have to laugh about it though

The statue looks like a woman who is having a demon exorcised from her body; her mouth is wide open in a snarl, and her eyes are black. She looks like she's screaming for her life.

The text on the video reads "Kids are humbling" alongside an upside-down smiley face that perfectly captures what it feels like to have small children.

The feeling of embarrassment is universal

The comment section is full of parents who are sharing similar stories of their own experiences, and you have to laugh or you'll cry.

"I was playing dinosaur with my son n he goes 'ur eyes look like my dinosaurs eyes' he was comparing the indominus rex eyes to my dark circles," one mom commented.

"Lady complimented my hair, my son immediately goes 'ITS A WIG.' He was 3 ," another added.

"We went camping and when we woke up my daughter says, 'too bad you don’t have your eyebrows…' ."

"When my daughter was younger she told me I was shaped like the number 5 ."

Sometimes it's not even your kid doing it

People shared stories of kids who are not their own calling them out, and it was truly hilarious.

"One of my students told me I laugh like a goat. I haven’t laughed at work in a week," one person said.

"My sisters daughter told her, 'let’s go to the park so you can run around and lose your belly.'"

"A little girl once looked at me confused and said 'are you a kid or adult?' I’m 5ft tall but damn near 30 years old ."
