Teacher Reportedly Called ICE on Her Own Student’s Family & People Are Furious

Nothing should be surprising anymore when it comes to ICE and Donald Trump’s plans for immigration in the United States, right? Well, actually, that’s wrong. Because who could have expected a kindergarten teacher would try to call ICE on the parents of one of her students? A student, mind you who is five or six years old.

One TikTok creator shared the audio from the alleged call when the teacher reportedly called a fake ICE hotline to report undocumented citizens. She says during the call that she doesn’t believe the student’s parents should be in the U.S. if they are here illegally, and she leans hard into her report of what she believes to be true of her student’s parents. Of course there is no concern from here about what would happen to said student if their parents were deported, but you know, just ICE things.

The teacher doubled down on her claims about the parents.

I love when evil people show us just how evil they truly are!!!!! PLSSSS If anyone knows who this was- SUBMIT A FERPA REPORT!!!!!! Looking into that boy’s file was HIGHLY ILLEGAL

When the “ICE agent” on the phone clarifies if the teacher wants her student’s parents deported, she replies, “I’m just saying, if they’re taking up resources from our county, I’m not into illegal people being here.” Whatever that means. Then, when he lays it all out there that, according to the teacher, the student is five or six, meaning the parents have been in the U.S. for at least that long, they will not forcibly be removed, she doesn’t object.

“You make it sound terrible,” she says with a laugh, when the fake ICE agent says he is typing out the notes in the file. Girly pop, that’s because it literally is.

The user who posted the video on TikTok with the audio wrote in her caption that for the teacher to look into the student’s file like this for this intent is illegal. And other users in the comments pointed out the lack of morals and professionalism from the teacher who the student might have trusted as his educator.

“It’s giving gestapo,” someone commented on the TikTok.

“I can’t believe people actually do this without remorse and see nothing wrong with it,” another user said in the comments.

Judging by the video, the teacher had to go out of her way to look into this student’s file to figure out where his parents are originally from. And even then, she has no idea what kind of damage she would be doing by “reporting” the family. On top of that, she clearly feels no guilt about it. I mean, she almost gets there when she says the fake agent is making her feel “terrible,” but then she laughs it off.

Classic bigot behavior.

One teacher commented, “I could never imagine doing this to my students’ parents.”

Another teacher added that, sadly, they are not surprised by this kindergarten teacher’s actions.

“I’m a teacher in Australia,” they wrote. “I thought the majority of teachers would be good people but in my experience, they’re not. I am not shocked.”
