Just when you thought you couldn't love Target any more, the retail giant has upped their game once again. This time, the company is aiming to make the return process run even more smoothly for customers by creating drive-up parking spots where items can be easily returned without ever leaving your car.
The service is being called the Target Drive Up spot
And if that sounds familiar, it's because Target actually launched a few hundred of them in 2017 as pilot tests. That said, they've been solely used for pick-ups on purchases ordered through Target.com. Now, they'll be even more helpful.
Target's Drive Up service is now available at 270 stores, including some in South Florida: Order anything via the Target app, park in designated spot and an employee will bring out your items pic.twitter.com/plg9MiVTEs

According to the company's website, Drive Up will soon be added to all stores within the U.S., and will include the ability for returns as well as order pick-ups.
The plan is to start rolling out more Drive Ups this spring
The push will be a quick one, too, with all 2,000 U.S. locations getting the feature by the end of the summer.
"It’s just one example of how we’re leading the way on ease and affordability to create a truly differentiated shopping experience," the company said.
For many customers, this will be a game-changer
Drive-thrus make it possible for busy parents to shop and/or return on the go, without having to wake their sleeping baby from their car seat or wrangle a cranky toddler in the store.
It may also combat another common pitfall that Target shoppers face: Going inside for "just one item," and walking out with a cart full of stuff.
The service expands upon Target's already generous return policy
Right now, shoppers are able to return most new and unopened items within 90 days of purchase, even without a receipt. For Target-owned brands, the return window extends to a full year (or 365 days from purchase).
"Our journey to expand our fulfillment options starts with making it easier for our guests to shop with us," said Mark Schindele, Target’s executive vice president and chief stores officer. "That’s why we’re launching Drive Up Returns. Allowing our guests to process a return from the comfort of their car underscores our commitment to helping our guests shop — and return — however they choose."
