Michael Jackson's hit song "Thriller" is a Halloween favorite, especially due to the spooky nature of the music video. In fact, the "Thriller" video is an iconic piece of pop culture history, not just because it's a mini movie, but because of the choreography performed by Jackson and his backup dancers. A teacher at a Chicago area elementary school is going viral, again, after a resurfaced video shows her and her students dancing to "Thriller"-inspired choreography all while being 9 months pregnant.

Jazmine Cooper is a dance teacher at CICS Wrightwood Charter School in Chicago. In 2019, she shared a video to her YouTube channel, called "Dancing With MISS COOP." In the video, she's seen dancing with her students to a reimagined version of the "Thriller" dance, which she titled "Thriller with a Twist."
Cooper leads her students with her pregnant belly on display, as they dance down the hallway to her original choreography.
After posting it on her YouTube page, it was picked up by Chicago area TV personality Nekia Michelle, where it got over a million views. The video resurfaced again on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Halloween 2023, where it got over a million views, as well as thousands of reposts and likes. Even Cooper reposted the video, saying, "Hey it’s me ."
There are so many comments on social media praising Cooper, not only for her awesome choreography but also her commitment to her students.
"Somebody find me her information, I wanna cook her and the kids some food. This is so beautiful and refreshing," one X user commented.
Rapper Missy Elliott responded to the video on X with a fire emoji.
"How long after before she went into labor? She went 2 cm to 8," one person quipped.
"What amazing teacher you are, And you were pregnant when you did this Video having fun with your students embracing them, And loving on them they will never forget you , You’re Students will always remember this moment took time with them," one person commented on YouTube.
For Halloween 2021, Cooper created an updated version of her 2019 "Thriller with a Twist" video with special effects, costumes, and a special guest appearance.
"HALLOWEEN OF 2019 MY DANCERS AND I WENT VIRAL WHILE I WAS 9 MONTHS PREGNANT. WE WANTED TO BRING IT BACK WITH THE KIDS OLDER AND AN SPECIAL APPEARANCE WITH MY SOON TO BE 2 YEAR OLD. ENJOY!!!!" she captioned the video.
