What to Know
Groceries might be getting more expensive for the average parent, but I can say with certainty that I’ve never spent close to $6,000 for my weekly order for my family of four. But one mom on TikTok posted a video where she claims to have spent $6,800 for her family’s grocery restock. Yes, that’s more than $6,000 for drinks, produce, snacks, and other foods. It’s unclear how big her family is, but her restock game is wild.
Not only were other users quick to criticize the mom’s order in the comments, but some also questioned how real the video is. She has no less than a refrigerator of Diet Coke alone, but that couldn’t have put a dent in that grocery bill cost. I’m not sure how possible it even is to spend thousands at the grocery store unless this mom is procreating on a level close to that of the Duggars of 19 Kids and Counting.
The mom’s order had a ton of Diet Coke.

The fridge restock starts off innocently enough, with the satisfying aahing and drying of fruits and vegetables before they are placed in clear reusable plastic containers. It’s all very aesthetically pleasing, and that seems to be the point here. Then, things get a little dicey. The mom seems to fill an entire refrigerator with Diet Coke alone.
We’re talking cans, 2-liter bottles, and 20-oz bottles of that liquid gold that people love so much. But no one spent upwards of $6k on Diet Coke. Another section of the refrigerator, or some refrigerator in the home, has Kinder Eggs and other chocolates. There are also at least three dozen eggs and multiple different kidneys of butters. There’s a lot of food involved here, as to be expected. And it’s making some people wonder how the mom did this.
“This was the grossest fridge restock I have watched,” a TikTok user commented.
“So, I think you meant full snack/drink fridge refill,” a user wrote.
And, after all that soda, candy, and even full cakes she added to the mix, another person commented, “That’s the most unhealthy fridge I’ve ever looked at.”
Others left snarkier comments. One person wrote, “Ah, yes. The five main food groups: fruit, Diet Coke, chocolate, eggs, and butter.”
Someone else added, “about $6,500 of that you didn’t need.”
Some people don’t think it’s real.

Because some people noticed details that don’t match up, like nail polish color, or the food shown on the counter versus what is stocked in the refrigerator, some are trying to call out the $6,800 fridge restock as fake. And it very well could be. However, this mom seems to make content based solely on extravagant fridge restocks.
Someone claimed. “It’s multiple different videos/people just put into one.”
However, another person pointed out, “Even if separate it is still a joke. One fridge was coke and the other candy store.”
She shared the receipt from a $5,000 order.

In another video the same TikTok user shared a long receipt from an alleged $5,000 grocery order. OK, I think we might be getting played here. But if not, these orders and restocks are wild by any standards. In the video with the $5,000 order, the user has a Coke Zero fetish this time. She also transfers a lot of the food to kitschy containers and storage bins for the aesthetic. I guess paying thousands of dollars for groceries is also part of the aesthetic.
