Kuvasz

Fun fact: This breed's name is derived from the Turkish word "kawasz," which means "armed guard of noblemen." Kuvaszes were popular among Hungarian noblemen in the Middle Ages.

Neapolitan Mastiff

Fun fact: In 2005, a Neapolitan Mastiff set the world record for most puppies delivered in one litter: 24. Sadly, only 20 of them survived. Of those, 16 were males and 4 were females.

Scottish Deerhound

Fun fact: Originally bred in the 16th century for deer hunting, the breed suffered a decline in popularity as firearm technology made deer easier to hunt. Breeders Archibald and Duncan McNeill revived the Scottish Deerhound, starting in 1825.

Great Pyrenees

Great Dane
