Step 1
Strip all sheets and blankets from the bed. Apply a pre-wash stain remover to any areas of the bedclothes that are stained and launder them or have them dry cleaned as usual. Do not put them in the dryer until the stain is gone in case you need to treat the stain again.
Step 2
Dry up any liquid that remains on the mattress by sponging with a terry cloth. Use firm pressure.
Step 3
Fill a spray bottle with hydrogen peroxide and spray the mattress stains. Let the hydrogen peroxide soak in for about five to 10 minutes.
Step 4
Use a dry terry cloth and press firmly into the hydrogen peroxide to soak it up from the mattress.
Step 5
Pour baking soda onto the mattress to absorb any leftover odors from the stain. Let it absorb for several hours.
Step 6
Vacuum up the baking soda from your mattress.
