Step 1
Pour 2 cups of chlorine bleach into a clean spray bottle. Add 5 cups of water. Gently shake the bottle to mix the ingredients together.
Step 2
Spray the cleaning solution directly onto your countertop.
Step 3
Work the solution into the counter, using a scouring pad or sponge, to disinfect the countertop.
Step 4
Soak up the excess solution, using paper towels.
Step 5
Wet a handful of paper towels and rinse the counter; dry with more paper towels. Make sure there is no standing bleach or water anywhere on the counter.
Step 6
Spray the countertop with furniture polish. Buff the polish into the counter, using a lint-free cloth.
