These Are the Most Expensive Products From Rhode, Hailey Bieber’s Billion-Dollar Beauty Brand

Hailey Bieber — model, wife of Justin Bieber, and daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin — is also the head of her own beauty brand, Rhode.

And while I admit that I do not have a lot of experience with her beauty line, I was intrigued when I heard the news that my personal favorite beauty line, e.l.f., just purchased Bieber’s entire brand for the cool price of $1 billion. (Yes, really.)

I love e.l.f. products primarily because they are affordable. With four daughters and myself in the house, I like to treat us to products that feel fun, work effectively, and are reasonably priced — and e.l.f. consistently hits those marks for us.

Along with the fact that her brand was valued at $1 billion and she’s a celebrity known for being anything but relatable (she’s also famous for a wildly expensive viral smoothie), I was curious about her Rhode brand. So I did some research on what some of the most expensive products in the line were — and honestly, I was surprised at what I found.

I will also warn you that when price-comparing, I discovered that the Rhode products on Amazon are significantly more expensive than buying directly from the Rhode site.

For instance, on Amazon, the 1.7-ounce Rhode glazing fluid is listed as $60, but on the Rhode site, it’s only $32. So if you’re shopping, be careful out there, and you may want to price check!

That being said, here are some of the most expensive products from Bieber’s brand, valued at $1 billion.

Rhode Peptide Glazing Fluid

This $32, 1.7-oz. serum is touted as “the secret” to Bieber’s “signature dewy, glazed skin.” (I am sure being a celebrity with a one-billion-dollar brand has nothing to do with it, but I digress….)

The product is a hydrating gel serum that’s meant to be applied after morning and night cleansing to plump and support the skin. According to the Rhode suggestions, you should apply the glaze after “essences” but before a richer moisturizer.

Rhode Glazing Milk

Also priced at $32 and advertised with images of Bieber pouring what appears to be a giant tub of frothy milk down her back is Rhode’s glazing milk product.

This product is apparently the “essence” that the previous milk glaze referenced, meant to be applied as the first step in a skincare routine (well, after cleansing, of course).

According to Rhode, the glazing milk provides hydration and preps the skin for better absorption of whatever you apply after it.  The brand also helpfully recommends that you apply the $32 4.2-oz. bottle over your entire body for “allover glistening hydration.”

Rhode Barrier Butter

Coming in as Rhode’s most expensive product on its site, the Barrier Butter is $38 for a 5-oz. bottle. It’s meant to be applied as the final step in your nighttime skincare routine to seal in moisture overnight and can be applied all over the body and face, according to Rhode.

The lotion is fragrance-free, and like many of the Rhode Skin products, it has received the Seal of Acceptance from the National Eczema Association, which, I will give Bieber, is helpful and rather admirable.

Rhode Peptide Lip Shape

I’m almost embarrassed to admit it, but I am actually very intrigued by this product. It’s a combination lip liner and lipstick product, so it’s creamier than a typical lip liner but more structured than typical lipstick.

Aside from the fact that I’ll have to assume all of the models advertising the product are sporting lip filler, the lip shape really does look like it could deliver on its promise to “enhance” the lips with a “contoured effort.” Plus, it comes in 11 shades, from a warm pinky mauve to a deep cool brown. You can also mix and match for buildable color.

Rhode Pocket Blush

Rounding off our list of the most expensive single products in the Hailey Bieber Rhode line is her pocket blush. And once again, I begrudgingly admit that this totally looks like a product my teen daughters would absolutely love.

It’s cute, travel-friendly, and the blush is cream-based, which my teens tell me is the far superior blush product right now. It comes in nine different colors, and you can also add it on as part of a trio package to make it more affordable.
