Step 1
Blot up any liquid spills as soon as possible. Liquids will initially bead up on microfiber; however, if given enough time, they will seep in.
Step 2
Dab stains with just a drop of liquid dishwashing detergent. Gently rub the soap into the stain with a slightly damp towel. Dry with a damp towel and the stain should be removed. If the stain is ink-based, use rubbing alcohol instead of the liquid detergent.
Step 3
Sprinkle baking soda on any odorous spot that is still stinky even after it's been spot-cleaned. Let the baking soda sit on the spot overnight, then brush it off.
Step 4
Vacuum the fabric if it is covering a couch or other piece of furniture. This will even out any marks left on the fabric after spot-cleaning and also remove any dust and dirt.
