A Party for a Princess
Birthdays seem magical when you're little, and for the lucky lil lady who celebrated her fifth birthday with this whimsical, sweets-filled bash, they probably always will. Designed by the owner of Frog Prince Paperie for her daughter, Madeline, this party is overflowing with thoughtful, inspirational details, from its use of a beautiful, light-blue flea-market find as a dessert case to adorable activity stations, which allowed little guests to make their own ribbon wands! Lots of sweet sparkles and, of course, a pink Swarovski crystal tiara for the birthday girl add to the magic of this party. Keep reading for all the lovely details, which will undoubtedly leave you wishing for your own fairy godmother—or at least your very own plate of star-topped pink Sno Balls (my favorite party detail)!
Make a Wish
The cake—topped with stars and candles, created by Something Sweet Cake Studio—sat on a pink tea cart. Strawberry milkshake shots (a request from the birthday girl) acted as a birthday cake chaser, delighting guests!

Dessert Display
Paula of Frog Prince Paperie (the birthday girl's mom) painted a thrift-store china hutch blue and lined its back with scrapbook paper designed for the party. Some of the desserts displayed within: dandelion-inspired brownie pops and sparkling Oreo pops, custom-made "Wish" cookies provided by Dainty Delights, and Kandy Kones from Posh Party Pretties. Twinkle pops and M&M-filled push pops were created by CupKates.
