Urbio containers launched officially at the show. It's a modular series of magnetic tiles and containers that lets you create your own storage space. From vertical gardens to school supplies to toys and craft gear, a whole wall could be filled with these containers. They'd be a great alternative to shelving in a kid's room or a school environment. You could even use it to teach your little one how to grow and care for herbs or small plants. Two thumbs up for Urbio.

To buy: Urbio, $15 to $35 for individual pieces

Welcome Home

Roughly translated from Dutch, “Kast van een Huis” means an enormous or huge house. The "houses" in this adorable collection are actually free-standing closets that can be used to store just about anything, from clothing to toys to books. The designer, Marie-Louise Groot Kormelink, modeled them after canal houses, which are traditional Dutch structures built in the 17th and 18th centuries. They would be fantastic in a mudroom.

Eastvold had a really simple booth this year—they let their beautiful solid wood designs speak for themselves. Each one of the pieces would serve as a nice storage solution for hiding toys and books. And another thing we love about this company is they ship all over the country.
