The multi-talented Jennifer Lopez was a national track competitor, softball player and gymnast in high school. She landed her first minor role in a film at 16 years old, and to her parent's dismay set out to pursue an acting career shortly after graduating. Her parents believed success as a movie star would be difficult for a Latina, but Lopez disagreed. And did she ever prove them wrong!

Amy Adams

Two-time Golden Globe winner Amy Adams sang in her Colorado high school's choir and danced with a local ballet company, but later switched from dance to theater. We're happy she made the switch, because we can't wait to see the newlywed and mom of one play Lois Lane in "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice," due in theaters March 2016.

Brad Pitt

By the looks of his yearbook photo, Brad Pitt was easy on the eyes back in high school, too! Pitt attended Kickapoo High School in Missouri and was active in student government, debate and sports. The film star starts work on "War Machine" in August, a film Netflix recently acquired. You can count us in on that one!

Blake Lively

Blake Lively, who filmed her first major role in the 2005 film "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" between her junior and senior years of high school, has come a long way! While her days as Serena van der Woodsen on "Gossip Girl" may be over, the mom of one recently started her own lifestyle website, Preserve. Be sure to check it out!

Stacy Ann Ferguson, aka "Fergie," was a model student during her days at Glen A. Wilson High School in Hacienda Heights, Calif. The former Girl Scout, cheerleader and spelling bee champion is now the proud mom of 22-month-old Axl and wife to actor Josh Duhamel.

Jamie Foxx

Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx already had an impressive résumé by the time he was in high school. He played the piano, was a star football player, played basketball and was a singer in the band Leather and Lace_._ Foxx will be starring in the upcoming remake film "Sleepless Night," which begins filming this month. Amy Poehler

"Parks and Recreation" star Amy Poehler attended Burlington High School in Massachusetts, where, according to her parents, she was very involved. Poehler didn't win the class clown award, but instead came in third for most individualistic. Poehler has several upcoming films, including the Netflix series "Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp" and "Sisters_,"_ in which she co-stars with Tina Fey.

Tom Cruise

As a child, Tom Cruise's father moved the family many times for work, and Cruise was later moved again when his mother left his father. The family moved several more times, and by the end of high school Cruise had attended 15 different schools!

Get ready to see Cruise this summer in his upcoming film "Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation," where he told USA Today that he holds his breath for six minutes in an underwater scene!

Tom Hanks

Check out that head of hair! Of his younger years, Hank told Rolling Stone he was "a geek, a spaz. … I was horribly, painfully, terribly shy." While his social skills may have been lacking, he said he was "a real good kid and pretty responsible."

We can all look forward to seeing the now socially savvy Hanks in "Bridge of Spies," directed by Steven Spielberg and due in theaters Oct. 16.

Mila Kunis

Childhood certainly wasn't without its challenges for Mila Kunis, who immigrated from the Ukraine to Los Angeles, not speaking any English at the age of 7. She adapted quickly, though, and nabbed the role of Jackie Burkhart in "That '70s Show" at age 14.

While she graduated from Fairfax High School in L.A., her early high school education came from an on-set tutor. The mom of 7-month-old Wyatt is rumored to have recently married Ashton Kutcher after failing to deny marriage accusations from James Corden on the "Late Late Show."

We couldn't be happier for this family of three!
