Someone get these kids an agent! Actress Zoe Saldaña's three sons show off their acting chops in a new Instagram video where they re-create a classic scene from the hit comedy movie Zoolander. This is the first time Zoe's fans have seen her boys' faces in a while, as both she and her husband, Marco Perego, like to keep them off social media.
Zoe shared the video with her 9.3 million followers
The From Scratch star posted the clip on Tuesday. In it, her three sons — 8-year-old twins Cy and Bowie and 6-year-old Zen — hilariously team up to walk past their mom in a massive hallway. Only the three boys purposely bump into her as they pass, giving Owen Wilson's famous Zoolander line as they do.
It's clear the family is having a lot of fun in the video
"Excuse me, brah," one of the boys says after the encounter.
Zoe then turns around and responds with Ben Stiller's line from the film. "You're excused… and I'm not your brah."
She then joked about the moment in her caption. "POV: reminding my teens they're actually still 6 and 8," she quipped.
Fans loved the playful moment between Zoe and her sons
People took to the comments section to laugh along with her and her kids. "Wish I could heart this a million times," one person wrote.
"[They're] the cutest," another added. "And so are you!"
Even fellow actor Simon Pegg got in on the fun, sharing a series of crying-laughing emojis.
Zoe and her husband try to keep their family life private
In December 2022, Zoe opened up to People about her decision when she revealed that she and Marco try to shield their kids from the spotlight as much as possible.
"Marco and I have a great deal of respect for the privacy of our kids. They're dependent on us, so they're not in a position to make choices for themselves," she explained at the time.
Now that we know how funny her kids are, though, we feel like we've been missing out
The showbiz gene clearly runs deep with this trio (in addition to having an actress mother, Marco is a movie producer), so we're sure that Cy, Bowie, and Zen have got plenty more funny moments like these up their sleeves.
We hope that Zoe will continue to share them with us — as long as her boys are OK with it, that is.
