Rapper The Game Comes Under Fire After Sharing ‘Weird’ Picture With Daughter

Rapper The Game is coming under fire after some people on social media took issue with the way he chose to celebrate his daughter Cali's middle school graduation. The Game is a devoted father, and while no one is doubting that, they do question how he chooses to express his love for his daughter.

The Game shared a series of pictures of his daughter Cali Dream as she prepared to graduate from 8th grade. In one of the pictures, he is down on his knee offering the 13-year-old a rose as she poses in her graduation outfit. The other pictures show the teen holding multiple bouquets of flowers and other gifts.

Popular website The Shade Room shared the pictures on their Instagram account, and while many people praised his love for the girl, others found the gesture to be a little off-putting.

"Not me assuming this young lady was getting proposed to… this is weird," one person wrote.

"They are always taking weird pictures! Before I knew who they were I thought it was a proposal!" another person wrote.

"The Game has a very weird vibe about him… I can’t quite put my finger on it… but something about him is off…," another person added.

"The irony of these type of men guarding and worshipping their daughters while doing the complete opposite to other people’s daughters… sigh. The way karma works though…," someone else shared.

In his initial post, The Game wrote a long caption to show how much he loves his daughter.

"The most incredible love I’ve ever known," he began the caption. "@calilynndreamtaylor being your father is the greatest part of my life. You are my entire heart & I am elated & more than proud to be your best friend & Dad. I am & will always be by your side, especially when you need me the most. From watching your birth… to watching you effortless excel in all areas in your life has been not only a joy to see… but also & experience I thank God for daily. You are everything I imagined you’d be… you make straight A’s look like light work & you are a pulchritudinous soul to all who encounter you. Thank you so much for being my baby… Now… on to graduation… we gone keep it short. 8th grade, see ya…. High school here we come !!!! I love you California Dream ❤️ Sincerely, your TWIN."

Last year, for Cali's 13th birthday, The Game shared multiple posts to commemorate the occasion. "I’m late on posting this am because every time I’ve thought of you this morning my eyes swelled up with tears. If I could have one wish… it would be to go back in the past & relive all of the moments we’ve shared together just to hold the little you a lot tighter," he captioned the post, as reported by People.

"Our endless love… our journey together past, present & future is my biggest joy in life baby. You are my sun, my moon, my stars, my universe.. & currently my hurricane & my earthquake. I love you Cali & I know I say it every single time I look into your eyes or hear your voice… but its only because loving you has been the highlight of my life," he wrote.
