Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley are going to be parents. People broke the good news as sources close to the couple confirmed Margot is pregnant. She was also spotted out and about in Lake Como, Italy, on Sunday, July 7, 2024. The Daily Mail obtained pictures of her showing off her growing belly.
Margot and Tom have yet to publicly comment on the situation. One can assume they are over-the-moon to be tackling the new roles of mom and dad. This is their first child.
Margot and Tom are now a Hollywood power couple. They went from co-workers to friends to lovers. They tend to keep their relationship private, but fans know some important details about their love story. The couple first met in 2013 on the set of Suite Française. Margot played the role of Celine and Tom worked as the third assistant director.
A year after meeting, the couple moved in together in London and started a production company, LuckyChap Entertainment. They partnered with their roommates Sophia Kerr and Josey McNamara. Their focus continues to be telling stories about women made by women.

In a 2016 interview with Vogue, Margot opened up about her and Tom’s journey to romance. “The idea of relationships made me want to vomit. And then this crept up on me,” she confessed. “We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, ‘Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him.’ And then it happened, and I was like, ‘Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.'”
In December 2016, Margot and Tom were married in a small ceremony at a private estate in Byron Bay, Australia. Margot broke the news on her now-deleted Instagram account. The couple looked so happy in the photo.
In a 2018 interview with Porter, Margot gushed about working with her husband. “I’m a great advocate of doing business with your partner,” she explained. “Being married is actually the most fun ever — life got way more fun somehow. In that same interview, Margot firmly stated she was not yet ready for kids. It appears she has changed her opinion on that.
