Lisa Marie Presley’s Twin Daughters Refuse to Return to the Home Where Her Heart Stopped

The sudden loss of Lisa Marie Presley has been so traumatic for her 14-year-old twin daughters that the girls are reportedly refusing to return home to the house they shared with their late mother. Lisa Marie, the 54-year-old daughter of music legend Elvis Presley, died on January 12 from what's presumed to have been cardiac arrest.

Lisa Marie's girls have been spending time with their grandmother

The late singer is survived by 14-year-old twins Finley and Harper and 33-year-old daughter Riley Keough. It sounds like the teens are unable to go back home after losing their mom, and are instead staying with their grandmother Priscilla Presley in Los Angeles. It's fortunate that the 77-year-old lives close enough to help her granddaughters during this difficult time.

'TMZ' says everyone is having a tough time

Even Riley has been bunking with her grandmother in the aftermath of Lisa Marie's death — and we can totally understand why. TMZ reported that it was Lisa Marie's housekeeper who found her suffering from an apparent cardiac event just as Finley and Harper's father, Michael Lockwood, returned from dropping the girls off at school.

While Michael was able to restart her heart, we know that Lisa Marie didn't survive the attack

Lisa Marie's ex-husband, who still lived with her at the time of her death, was able to get her heart beating again while they waited for an ambulance to transport her to the ER. We completely understand why returning to the house where all of this went down could be so traumatic for the teens.

Harper and Finley have been through so much

In addition to their mother's death, the girls also lost their brother, Benjamin, in 2020 when he died by suicide. All three of Lisa Marie's daughters are so young to have experienced so much loss, and they're going to need their entire support system to get them through this current chapter of their lives.

We have a hunch the girls will stay with Priscilla while they plan their next move

After Benjamin's death, Lisa Marie sold the family home where he ended his life. We can't help but wonder if the girls will follow in their mother's footsteps and try to get past the tragedy by physically moving on from the house where it happened.

Our thoughts are with Lisa Marie's family right now as they work through this terrible time.
