It all started with a post on her Instagram Stories
Right now, Kim is in Paris for Fashion Week, and while it's not clear whether he went with his mom or stayed at home, Saint was properly accessorized for the occasion. On her Instagram Stories, she shared a photo of Saint grinning so he could show off his gold teeth — and it was impossible not to notice that he was also wearing a diamond necklace that spelled out his name.
Some people weren't very impressed with the gifts
As The Sun reported, fans took to Reddit to discuss Saint's new look, and many of them didn't think it was appropriate. Though it wasn't clear what exactly was going on in his mouth, fans concluded that it looked like a tooth gem in the shape of a "Louis Vuitton logo, maybe glued to his teeth."
Others were more concerned about the financial ramifications
On Twitter, fans discussed the excessive amount of money being spent on giving a child gold teeth when so many children around the world go without basic necessities.
One person tweeted, "That’s obscene, where is Mary Antoinette when you need her …"
Another added, "While some kids are going without dinner."

In fact, earlier this month it was Kylie's turn to be admonished. Fans raised a major eyebrow after she revealed in a TikTok video that her 5-year-old daughter, Stormi, had worn a $40k Rolex watch to a birthday party as an accessory.

Kim clearly isn't bothered by the backlash
She has continued to live her best life at Fashion Week, and was spotted attending the Louis Vuitton show on Tuesday, sitting next to Jared Leto as she took it all in.
Ultimately, it comes down to Kim making the best choices for her kids … but most little ones who are Saint's age would lose a diamond necklace in about 10 minutes!
