Excited fans finally got a chance to get a tiny glimpse of Kelly Osbourne's new baby over the weekend. The new mom showed off her son's head while posing for a selfie with her brother, Jack Osbourne. It looks like Kelly gave her little boy a glimpse of what life looks like as a working mom.
Kelly actually served up two small peeks at her son on Instagram
Fans were treated to a double feature this weekend when Kelly posted a pair of rare photos that showed off her baby boy. In a since-expired Instagram Story post, Kelly shared a photo of herself holding her son, according to People. "Lights, Camera, Action," a sticker added to the photo read. Kelly appeared to be referencing her return to work filming her family's upcoming new reality show, Home To Roost.
She delivered a heartfelt message about her brother with a second photo
The reality star posted another snapshot, this one featuring Jack as well as her son, along with a quote from Irene Banks. "An uncle is a blessing," the quoted caption said. "It means so many things. Words could never tell the joy an uncle brings. An uncle is a bond of faith that even time can't sever, a gift to last all of our lives. An uncle is forever."
Kelly has been keeping things private since becoming a new mom
Other than her recent post about her newfound "respect for working mothers" — which she shared after taking her first job since giving birth to her son — Kelly has been keeping her family life pretty hush-hush. In fact, most of the information we've gotten about Kelly's pregnancy (and new motherhood journey) has come from her chatty parents.
Her father is the one who announced her surprise pregnancy
In October, Ozzy Osbourne dropped his daughter's baby news while appearing on Howard Stern's podcast. Then, fans learned the name that Kelly and partner Sid Wilson had settled on when her mom, Sharon Osbourne, let the cat out of the bag during a broadcast of Talk TV.
It seems like Kelly is doing her best to keep her son out of the spotlight, but her parents just can't help but gush over their new grandson.
We think fans are content to take what they can get
We can appreciate why Kelly wants to give her son a chance to grow up outside of the public eye, given how much attention Kelly has gotten over the years thanks to her famous family.
So for now, we'll be satisfied just to catch the little sneak peeks of her son that she's willing to share. We have a hunch Kelly will give us a good look at her boy as soon as she's ready.
