Rihanna is definitely one of the coolest celebrity moms. Not too many others would be able to casually announce their second pregnancy during a performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show. She has two babies, and earlier this month, people started spreading rumors that a third was on the way. Turns out, she's not, but an AI deepfake would like us to believe she is.

Where did this rumor even begin?
Earlier this month, a post on X (formerly Twitter) alleged that the superstar was pregnant with her third child.
"Rihanna confirmed that she & Asap Rocky are expecting their 3rd Baby," the tweet read, but it added no additional context or source to that information.
The rumor spread quickly
Naturally, the tweet spread quickly, with thousands of reposts and comments. While a lot of people were just reporting the alleged fact, many commented on the fact that she only recently had a baby.
"Is it even safe to keep getting pregnant at this rate?" one user questioned.
Turns out, we have an AI video to thank for the rumor
British website HITC reported that there was a TikTok that announced Rihanna's pregnancy. In the video, "Rihanna admitted that she is pregnant again" is printed across the screen in what looks like an interview with the singer. A voice off camera asks "How many kids do you want?" before Rihanna replied "Three, I am pregnant again."
In the next frame, it's revealed that the whole thing was made using AI, and that you can "make a celebrity say anything."
Neither Rihanna or A$AP Rocky have confirmed a third pregnancy
Rihanna just gave birth to son Riot Rose at the end of the summer. While it's not impossible for her to be pregnant, it is highly unlikely. And knowing what we know about Rih, there's no way she would just casually announce it in an interview.
Here's what they have said about possibly having more children
In an interview with British Vogue right after revealing her pregnancy with Riot, when asked how she feels about expanding the family, she said "Listen, I’m down for whatever. My wish would be I would like to have more kids but whatever God wants for me, I’m here."
A$AP Rocky recently called having RZA and Riot him and Rih's "best creation so far." While they love creating a family, we're probably going to have to wait a bit longer before we get baby No. 3.
