Rihanna Chose to Debut Baby Riot in an All-Pink Outfit — Here’s Why

Rihanna has blessed us with photos of her newborn son Riot Rose, and we're obsessed. The pictures of the little one have caused quite a buzz, mainly because fans have been eagerly awaiting a glimpse of him, but also because of the outfit Rihanna chose to put him in for his debut. The tot was photographed in a pink onesie, confusing everyone. But there's a reason for that.

Rihanna had a very good reason for her choice

A lot of fans thought they had read the news of Riot's gender wrong, and that the newborn was actually a girl. But earlier this year, Rihanna explained that clothes are just clothes during an interview with British Vogue.

"I like to dress him in things that don't look like baby clothes. I like to push it. I put him in floral stuff. I put him in hot pink. I love that. I think that fluidity in fashion is best. I always shop in the men's department, you know," Rihanna said at the time.

Baby Riot is so stinking cute

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky released pictures of Riot earlier this week, debuting their family of four for the first time. In addition to his pink onesie, Riot can be seen in some pictures in a pair of tiny boots.

In another snap, he's lying on a blanket with high socks as mom and dad look down on him lovingly.

Big brother RZA looked equally fashionable

In one of the photos, RZA is seen in his dad's arms, wearing a tiny leather jacket and jeans, with the new FENTY x Puma Avanti shoes in silver.

Rihanna showed off her baby bump during the Super Bowl

Riot Rose was born in August, reports confirmed. Rihanna hard-launched her pregnancy with Riot in February when she performed the Super Bowl Halftime Show. She wore a red outfit that hugged her baby bump.

A month before Riot's birth, Rih and RZA debuted the Savage x Fenty nursing bras in a sweet photo shoot.
