Hilary Swank must have been feeling a bit nostalgic on Tuesday when she shared photos from her maternity shoot. The newly minted mother of two posted a few pictures on Instagram, highlighting her pregnancy while she's at home recovering from the birth of her twins.

A little over a week after welcoming her boy-girl twins, Hilary found herself reminiscing about her pregnancy experience.
"Thank you Brian Bowen Smith for capturing one of my favorite moments in time, being pregnant (next to having my babies earth-side and meeting and marrying my husband)," the Alaska Daily star captioned a black-and-white nude shot. "I was 27 and a half weeks here."
Hilary also posted another version on her Instagram story
Both Hilary and Brian shared a similarly styled shot featuring Hilary's bare bump. "Thank you for capturing this magical moment," she wrote in her post.
Hilary and husband Philip Schneider welcomed their children on April 9, according to a post Hilary made just one day after the twins' arrival.
Fans and friends alike gushed over the stunning maternity pictures
Pal Mary McCormack posted a heart emoji and wrote the word "perfect."
"Absolutely stunning, Hilary," one fan commented in part, telling the actress how beautiful and regal she looks in the images. "Your story is inspiring to me at age 34 that having children later in life is possible and still can be safe. Wishing you and your babies good health as they grow and as you journey through postpartum motherhood."
The 48-year-old actress was waiting for the timing to be right before starting a family
Hilary made her big pregnancy reveal during an appearance on Good Morning America in October 2022. "This is something that I've been wanting for a long time, and my next thing is I'm gonna be a mom. And not just of one but of two," she excitedly shared at the time.
Hilary had spent years trying to get pregnant and had been open about her desire to start a family, making this an especially poignant moment for her and her husband.

Fans will have to wait a bit longer to find out more details about Hilary's babies
While Hilary may have been ready to bare all by sharing her maternity shots, she isn't quite ready to share everything about her two new bundles of joy. We still don't know what names Hilary and Philip decided on, and we haven't gotten a peek at the little ones yet — other than a single photo featuring the backs of their heads, that is.
Hopefully the couple will be ready to share more soon. We're absolutely thrilled for them!
