‘Alaska Daily’ Star Hilary Swank Is in ‘Heaven’ After Giving Birth to Twins at 48

It looks like Hilary Swank's dream of becoming a mom has finally come true. In a sweet Instagram post she shared over the weekend, Hilary gave fans a glimpse of her twin babies, revealing that she'd already given birth for the first time. This is too precious!

She shared the first photo of her babies on Easter

Here, she's posing as she looks out onto the water with a baby in each arm. We can't see their faces, but judging by this new mom's caption, she's over the moon.

"It wasn’t easy. But boy (and girl!) was it worth it," she wrote, adding that she was "posting from pure Heaven."

So many fellow celebrities congratulated her

The comments section of this post was pretty star-studded, with everyone from Mariska Hargitay to Viola Davis to Katie Couric sending their best wishes to the star.

Sharon Stone, who is a mom of three herself, wrote: "God bless honey This is the most extraordinary journey ever. So happy for you all."

Hilary has been sharing much of her journey

And since announcing her pregnancy last year, that's meant sharing bump updates and even ultrasound photos with her followers on Instagram. One of the photos included one of her twins flexing in a moment that was very Million Dollar Baby of them. Too cute!

Her final update was all about delivery

On March 29, she took to Instagram to ask her followers an important question as she prepared her delivery room playlist ahead of the birth: Should she include Salt-N-Pepa's song "Push It" on the list?

The comments were overwhelmingly in favor, and Hilary's dance moves were on point for a mama who was about to pop!

Congratulations to this new mom!

Hilary and husband Philip Schneider likely have their hands (and hearts) full right now. After all, learning to parent one newborn is hard enough, but two at the same time is next level!

We can't wait for more updates, but in the meantime, we hope they're soaking in all those new baby cuddles.
