Hannah Neeleman Announces She’s Pregnant With Baby 9 in New Ballerina Farm Ad & People Are Snarking

Having nine kids is certainly not a choice most people would make. Unless you’re a family like the Duggars, popping out kids one after another sounds like absolute torture. There are a lot of reasons having so many kids feels like a terrible choice. Cost of having kids aside, if I had that many kids, I’d fear I wasn’t giving each of them the attention they deserve. Not to mention, the world is a dumpster fire right now. That’s why when influencer Hannah Neeleman, co-creator of Ballerina Farm announced that she was expecting her ninth child, people on the internet were shocked. And not in a good way.

Hannah Neeleman announced her pregnancy in an uncommon way.

The mom of eight dropped the news of her pregnancy in a new ad for the company’s Farmer Protein Powder. As ballerinas dance on a stage, Neeleman walks into the auditorium where they’re practicing. She takes center focus, opening her coat to reveal her pregnant belly.

“As a ballerina, you are associated with many things: elegance, grace, poise,” she says in a voiceover. “But a term not often associated enough: strength. On this stage, I learned to be strong, and despite what some people think, that strength never leaves you. It prepares you.”

People didn’t hesitate to call her out.

Comments flooded the video on Instagram, with many people sharing their brutally honest feelings with Hannah Neeleman about her ninth pregnancy.

“Is having more and more children the only purpose left in life? While the world is facing serious crises and countless urgent problems? Do you really see what is happening around you, or are you living in a completely different reality?” one person asked.

“Billionaire wife makes obnoxious out of touch promo while husband spends days scheming with dad how to union bust,” another comment reads.

One person was even more direct. “Are you all blind, this is very very VERY WEIRD,” they wrote.

Reddit users are absolutely roasting her.

Commenters in the r/FundieSnarkUncensored group are having a field day with Neeleman’s announcement.

“Cant get out of the news for their contaminated milk, may as well announce a baby,” one person wrote, referencing the couple’s recent raw milk controversy. “Is she gonna try and kill it with raw cows milk?” someone asked.

A different comment reads, “Announcing it in a professionally produced ad too, gigantic eyeroll. Making babies is always an opportunity for these people to make more money.”

“KNEW IT. Months ago a small influencer accidentally posted a pic of Ballerina Farms where her very preggo belly was showing. She ended up taking it down,” someone else wrote.

“I can’t wait for the tell-all documentaries that will come out in the future. With this many kids it’s given at least 1 will denounce the lifestyle or become exmo. They will have a lot to say, I’m sure,” another commenter shared.

Many are blaming her husband for wanting so many kids.

“No one is shocked. Her husband has a breeding fetish,” one commenter wrote. Another person replied, “He said she’d ‘rattle off nine boys.’ He wants more sons. She’s had too many girls.”

“I’ll never forget when they said that the moment their newest baby starts walking, he wants to start trying for the next one,” someone else responded.

“From her husband’s perspective, she’s the only livestock on the farm that’s usable and fit for purpose, so it was only a matter of time. Another preferably male little distraction and regardless, something that can be milked for social media.”
