Gisele Bündchen Says Her Son Benjamin Has Been Bullied for Being Tom Brady’s Kid

It's not easy being a Brady. According to Gisele Bündchen, her son, Benjamin, has been bullied for being the son of NFL star Tom Brady. It seems people expect the teen to have the same athletic prowess as his famous father, something Benjamin just can't compete with at only 13.

Gisele made the revelation during a recent interview

The supermodel appears on the cover of the April 2023 issue of Vanity Fair. In addition to a sun-soaked photo shoot, Gisele gave some insight into her family life, including what it's like for her children to have such a famous athlete as a father. It sounds like things are especially hard for Benjamin, who just isn't quite into the same stuff his dad is.

She said people's expectations are just too high for her Benjamin

Tom is often referred to as the GOAT (the greatest of all time) for his long-running NFL career. Some seem to think that Tom's GOAT-ness should have been inherited by his youngest son, causing issues for the teen.

Vanity Fair's piece features a story from Gisele of an incident during a Boston baseball game when the "athletic pressure of being Brady's son led to bullying."

Benjamin's athletic interests mostly lie elsewhere

He is more interested in pursuing his "non-ball" sports interests, which include surfing and skiing, according to his mom. Benjamin also loves jiu-jitsu, just like his older brother and sister. "They're all like senseis," Gisele joked of the three kids.

Tom's oldest son is a different story

In addition to Benjamin and daughter Vivian, whom he shares with Gisele, Tom also has a 15-year-old son named Jack from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan. Gisele said Jack is currently "quarterbacking" with a goal of following in his father's footsteps and attending the University of Michigan.

We hope people stop putting pressure on Benjamin

While we're disappointed to hear that Benjamin has been teased and bullied, we're so thrilled to know that his loving parents are there to support him in whatever he wants to do, even if it's following his own path and leaving the traditional athletics to the other Bradys in the family.
