Social media gives us such a window into celebrities' lives, especially when they have kids. It's always so fun to see the proud parents sharing pics of their newborn, and watching them grow up over time. And since Nikki Bella and her fiancé Artem Chigvintsev are gorgeous, it's not at all a surprise that their son Matteo is already so adorable. Not all celebs are comfortable sharing pics of their kids online, but Nikki and Artem have a good balance of sharing photos of their child while also not completely inundating their social media pages with all Matteo, all the time. In November, Nikki posted this never-before-seen throwback of the day she gave birth to little Matteo last July. It's just the sweetest moment when mom and baby finally get to meet face-to-face, and we love that Nikki decided to share that moment with us. There's so much love radiating from this one picture.
Sweet Dreams
Such a happy sleeping baby! Matteo must have been having some pretty sweet dreams to have that big a smile on his face. Matteo's daddy Artem Chigvintsev looks so enamored with his little boy. And we can't get over how cute the little whale jammies are! Baby pajamas are truly some of the most fun baby items to shop for.
Like Father, Like Son
Speaking of Artem, can we talk about how Matteo is basically his mini-me? Both father and son have strikingly beautiful blue eyes and the same light brown hair. We'll see as Matteo grows up if he keeps looking like his dad, but so far they're totally twins. And Artem is a handsome guy, so Matteo is lucky to get those genes.
Little Pumpkin Patch
It's not a newborn's first autumn without a photo in a pumpkin patch! Nikki DIY-ed one in her house with a couple of gourds and an on-theme yellow onesie for little Teo. Nikki captioned her pic, "I know what he’s thinking… of course Mom had to get the biggest pumpkin at the patch for me." Well, duh! First kids always get the biggest everything.
The Cutest Baby Yoda
For baby's first Halloween, Nikki and Artem dressed Matteo as a trendy pop culture character — Baby Yoda. Click through the pics to see Teo have a total meltdown over the hat. As Nikki wrote on Insta, "Lesson learned… don’t ever mess with Teo’s hair! Haha." He does have very good hair; we don't blame him for not wanting to cover it up.
Fast Asleep
It looks like Matteo was pondering life's big questions and then just… fell asleep. We feel you, little dude. These are the kinds of photos that Nikki will be so glad that she has as her son gets bigger. "My favorite moments in the whole wide world and moments that I never ever want to end," she captioned the pic.
The Best Prize
Artem may have won last season of Dancing With the Stars with his dance partner Kaitlyn Bristowe, but his real 2020 prize was definitely the birth of his first son. Of course, it doesn't hurt to have both trophies in his life, right? "Two of my biggest achievements," Artem captured the photo of him holding up both Matteo and the DWTS Mirrorball trophy.
Best Buds
Nikki's son Matteo and her twin sister Brie's son Buddy were born within a day of each other. Needless to say, the cousins are basically twins themselves. Nikki even calls them "soul twins." In their matching outfits, they really look it, too! And how cute is it that they're holding hands? It's going to be really fun for these two to grow up like brothers.
Matching Christmas Jammies
As we saw from Matteo's Halloween costume, Nikki and Artem are big Star Wars fans. So it wasn't that surprising that Artem and Matteo decided to wear matching Star Wars Christmas jammies. Matching pajamas are a holiday hallmark, and this was a fun twist on the tradition. We can't tell what Nikki's wearing, but we hope she got in on the trend, too.
Dance Pro
Artem's job is to be good at dancing, so it would be a shame if none of that talent was passed down to little Teo. Fortunately, it looks like he's already got some of his pop's skills. Sure, he can't hold himself up yet, but that's just a minor technicality. Matteo's gonna rock the dance floor once he can, you know, walk.
So Fancy
Like most of us, Nikki and Artem rang in the New Year by themselves at home with their little one. But just because it was a low-key holiday didn't mean that they couldn't dress Matteo up to the nines. Babies in tuxes are so precious, even when it's just a photo of a tux printed on a onesie. Last year was rough for all of us, but at least Nikki and Artem got a beautiful baby out of it.
Messy Eater
First-time moms love to capture their babies trying out new foods, because seeing how a little one responds to new flavors is so fun. Here we see Matteo is a big fan of sweet potatoes, and he's also a big fan of getting them all over the place — including his face, arm, and high chair. Oops! Nikki's gotta get used to these kinds of messes as Matteo eats more and more foods.
Big Hug
"The best hugs ever," Artem captioned this photo of his son giving him a warm embrace. There really is nothing more special than when our kids start to understand affection and give it back to us. It makes all the hard parenting moments totally worth it. How can you not be instantly soothed by a baby hug?
Three's Company
Look at this happy little family! They have so much to be grateful for, and we're so grateful that they share these sweet moments with all of us. Sure, they're not doing anything special, but these types of normal family moments are the best. Also look at Nikki's necklace: She's wearing an "MC" for Matteo Chigvintsev. So cute.
Extra Cozy
For some chilly March weather, Nikki was prepared with a supercute snowsuit for little Matteo. In California, she's probably never gonna really need to use that, but at least she has it just in case. And Matteo looks so cute in it that she should probably find some snow ASAP just for the snuggled-up photo opportunity.
Long Hair, Don't Care
Matteo is nearly 8 months old here, and he's already so big! His hair is getting so long, too. Nikki and Artem have been keeping it out of his eyes with a barrette, and as Artem put it, he's totally "rocking that hair clip." We couldn't agree more! Between that hair and those blue eyes, he's already a total heartbreaker.
Twinning With Mom
One of the most fun parts of having a baby is getting to wear matching clothes with them. We love a coordinated moment, especially since Matteo's beanie says, "Got it from my mama." Nikki wrote in her caption, "Love what the beanie says and the first beanie Teo keeps on and loves!!" Guess he doesn't mind covering his hair when he's got such a stylish hat on.
Totally Stylin'
This is not one of those "celebs are just like us" moments, because most of us don't have designer baby clothes for our little ones. But Nikki does, and she dressed Matteo in a super-chic Gucci sweatshirt to go with his lime green leggings and blue slippers. "I’d smile this big for Gucci too!" she joked in the caption. Same, Nikki. Same.
The Happiest Boy
Ever since Matteo learned how to smile, he's been flashing giant grins at the camera. He's such a happy boy! He really should be the ad for the Jolly Jumper that he's in, because his face is the epitome of jolly. Whenever we're feeling sad, we're just gonna open this picture and our mood will shift instantly.
Bright-Eyed
Matteo's blue eyes are so striking. Not all babies' eyes stay this light as they get older, but since his dad also has beautiful baby blues, we wouldn't be surprised if Teo's stay this color. If they do, he's gonna charm all the girls. He's already such a handsome boy with such sparkling, bright eyes. It's only gonna get better from here.
