Ronnie Koenig

Ronnie’s career as a writer began at the iconic "Playgirl" magazine after answering an ad that read: "writer/editor, must be comfortable with male nudity." From there, she began writing freelance articles for "Cosmopolitan," "Redbook," "Penthouse" and "iVillage." Her work has also appeared in "The Atlantic," "Self," "Men's Health," "Parents," "American Baby," "Babble," "The Saturday Evening Post" and "American Way" (in your seatback pocket!).

She lives and writes in Brooklyn, NY, where she loves to cook and mix cocktails, give and take bubble baths and instigate impromptu dance parties with her husband and their toddler twins. You can see more of her writing at her website.

What was your favorite childhood toy?

Barbie! I secretly played with them well into middle school. Barbie and her friends would often take part in naked hot tub parties.
