Peanut Butter Blossoms are a classic cookie, and combine two of our favorite flavors: chocolate and peanut butter. They're the perfect cookie to make with your little ones— have them roll the dough in sugar and carefully top them with a Hershey's kiss. Adorable and delicious, so it's a win-win.
RECIPE: Peanut Butter Blossoms
Yields 2 dozen cookies
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt.
- Cream together the peanut butter and butter.
- Add the two sugars, egg and vanilla, and beat well.
- Shape into balls, roll in granulated sugar.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 7 to 8 minutes.
- Remove from oven. Top with Hershey's Kiss. Return to oven. Bake 2 to 5 minutes longer.
