What to Know
If there’s one thing an incel loves, it’s spouting their rhetoric about how women should be and where their place truly is in life. We’ve all heard it, most of the time unwillingly. And now, a user on X (formerly Twitter) shared the same mindset when he posted a video of a woman making butter and chocolate from scratch.
According to him, the idea of a homesteading woman in prairie clothes is a lost art thanks to waves of feminism in the world. I mean, I’m pretty sure that’s not why people aren’t churning butter and making homemade chocolate, but OK, you do you, man. Soon after he posted it, the incel (involuntarily celibate, in case there was any question about what that means) was called out for his ideas about women.
The video he posted shows a woman making butter and living a homesteading life.

In the video, the woman pours milk, churns it, forms her butter into a neat rectangle, and wraps it up. Then, she starts in on making chocolate from scratch, beginning with an actual cocoa bean. Sure, it might be a performative video and the Ballerina Farm-esque kitchen she’s in is not her actual kitchen that she uses on a regular basis. But tell that to the incel who reposted it on X.
In his post, he wrote, “Gentlemen, we are seeing an endangered species. Feminism has destroyed this.”
According to him, there is apparently a real need for women who are willing to channel their inner Laura Ingalls Wilder, a la Little House on the Prairie. Never mind the fact that men could very easily do what this woman is doing, and really, isn’t that what male empowerment is all about anyway? Yeah, maybe not.
He thinks feminism destroyed this kind of woman.

By this X user’s logic, feminism ruined the possibility of men being able to marry women like the one shown in the video. The account itself on X appears to be dedicated to memes and maybe even a bit of rage baiting. Whatever the case may be, it definitely worked with this one.
One woman commented, “What’s stopping you from doing this for yourself?”
Someone responded to that user with, “He doesn’t have a wife so he’s spitting on feminism rather than taking a shower”
Another user pointed out, “I think this was ended by mass industrialization not feminism but what do I know.”
Also, unless the so-called logic behind the post extends to men, it doesn’t make much sense. Then again, it probably doesn’t extend to men.
“Why is it women need to go back to milking cows, raising chickens, and using manual tools to be considered a proper SAH wife?” An X user commented. “Kind of like saying men don’t really work anymore because they use a backhoe instead of a shovel.”
Other users called out the incel for his perception of women.

There’s really no other way to perceive the X user other than to take notice of the incel behavior that you can’t deny. Some called out the user for not seeing that there are plenty of things men can do despite his ideas that certain tasks and hobbies are meant for women. Others shared their sheer annoyance at his post on X.
“I swear the Earth would rip open and you would find a way to blame it on feminism,” a user wrote.
Someone else said, “Feminism gave women the choice of whether they want to do this or not. God forbid you can’t force women to be your slaves anymore.”
