MAGA Moms Say Barron Trump Should Serve in the Military & That’s a Surprise

I am firmly anti-war. There is never any reason to send people into another country where the only people who will suffer and die will be innocent civilians on both sides. And despite his promise that he wouldn’t start any new wars, President Trump has decided to start one anyway. While many of his followers believe that the war is justified, some understand that it will have consequences. And some believe that no one should be exempt from serving in the military if it comes to that. This includes the president’s youngest child, Barron Trump.

They think the war in Iran is justified.

On March 27, 2026, the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) took place in Grapevine, Texas.

Two moms, who were wearing matching sparkly red, white and blue jackets, spoke with MS NOW’s Rosa Flores, HuffPost reported. One of the women, who was wearing a white MAGA hat as she spoke, said that she “started off pretty upset” about the current war in Iran.

“I have an 18-year-old son so that really hit close to home,” she explained. “We had to get him registered for the Selective Service and everything and so I wasn’t happy about it.”

But then she went on to say that she had seen footage of Americans being hanged in Iran, and that changed her feelings about the war.

“If my son was called to go, I would still support the war,” she said.

The moms also seem to believe that Barron Trump should and would serve in the military.

After speaking with the mom, Flores told anchor Chris Jansing that she asked them about Trump, who just turned 20 last week. Neither Donald Trump nor his two older sons have ever enlisted in the military, and so far, his youngest son hasn’t either.

“She was there with her friend and both mothers agreed that if soldiers were sent to war, if this woman’s son was sent to war, they both agreed that Barron Trump should also serve in the military,” Flores said.

“And I said, ‘Well, do you think that he would actually do that?’ And they said, well, they think that he would do the right thing.”

Commenters had opinions about the woman’s stance.

“After being promised over and over NO NEW WARS, this woman’s son could possibly be drafted and sent to war, yet there she is defending him still,” one person wrote on the HuffPost article.

“Barron will only serve in the military for some made up top-brass position that does absolutely nothing but siphon cash away from the DOD,” someone else wrote. “He is supposed to be good with Tech so a cushy job within the Pentagon safely tucked away from any War,” another person replied.

“Barron couldn’t even make it through his freshman year of college without Mama. Enlist??? No way could he manage without Melania at his side,” someone else wrote.

They’re not the only ones who believe he should enlist.

Former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura appeared on Piers Morgan’s “Uncensored,” sharing that he believes the youngest Trump should join the military and fight for the country his father claims to love.

“I’m calling right now for Barron Trump, Donald Trump’s son,” Ventura said. “To my knowledge, a Trump in the last hundred years has never done military service. Well, Barron, you can change that. Enlist in the United States military right now.”

“Do something your father didn’t have the courage to do,” he implored. “Do something your father didn’t have the patriotism to do. Come on, Trumps. Don’t just reap the benefits of this free world. Somebody put on the uniform,” he challenged.
